martina-sofie-wildberger-i-want-to-say-something
Martina Sofie Wildberger: I want to say something

The five pieces of the poster session “Working Proofs” record and comment on five series of works and installations that were created in 2020 and 2021. Each “proof” corresponds to a specific artistic approach that was applied both in the series of works and as a poster, each in the work’ own logic. Thus Schwander reflects on his artistic work as a series of experimentalarrangements,inwhich he always starts anew at different points. The picture face of each poster shows a concise representation; on the reverse side, informative images and texts provide a more in-depth approach. The five posters were published individually for the exhibitions “Readyunmade” at the Tony Wuethrich Galerie, Basel, “Über die Jahre geschoben” at the Kunstraum Aarau, Aarau, “feldern” at the ZAK Zentrum für Aktuelle Kunst in der Zitadelle Spandau, Berlin, and “Rosa Schönthal”, at the Kunststall of the Schönthal Monastery, Langenbruck. Now they are available as a publication in a beautifully designed slipcase, documenting the events and inviting the reader to explore and study the works, as well as being equally suitable for hanging up as posters.

Markus Schwander Website
markusschwander.com

Dimensions: 237 × 340 mm
Format: Slipcase with 5 posters
Language: English, German
Year: 2021
Design: Alena Stählin
Publisher: edition fink

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0491/5749/products/1_8929dc4d-8eed-4f96-82d4-f4ed3bd304af.jpg?v=1659706908
