Knives is an elegy for American manufacturing made over several years, using photography to trace the shifting relationships between masculinity, myth, and violence in a rural town whose economic base remains eviscerated by globalisation. The book published by New York based fine art photographer Jason Koxvold (b. 1977). His works has been published in Wired, Esquire, Wallpaper*, Newsweek Japan, National Geographic Traveler, and others.
