alter. is a platform that pioneers new possibilities in product design. This book is an archive book documenting ‘alter. 2025, Tokyo’, held in November 2025. In addition to photographs of the venue taken by photographer Go Itami, the book features images of the production processes behind all 11 participating projects. It also includes texts explaining the discussions leading up to the event and the intentions behind its realization, archiving the practices explored through alter. Editing, art direction, and design are led by Osamu Sakuma (Rondade), who served as creative director of alter.
